Red Beard is an oak aged pilsner. We started with classic German Pilsner malt, and hopped heavily with Barbe Rouge and a tough of Grungeist hops. The starting point was a classic pilsner with hints of red berry and mild spice. Then we aged it Sauvignon Blanc French Oak barrels. The final result was instantly a brewer’s favorite. It’s complex, light and smooth. Every sip juxtaposes fruit with complex oak, while remaining crispy and crushable! Arggggggg!
