Our Story
The Road Goes On Forever …
Our founders, Trever and Kaleb first met while playing in a Texas Country band in college. Years passed, the friends graduated, moved away, and got jobs in Lubbock and Austin. One day, during an impromptu phone call, they hashed out a loose idea to open a brewery. The next morning, they got to work. Fueled by beer and a passion to build something in their hometown, they opened the doors to Pondaseta Brewing Co. in 2018 - a community-forward brewery in the Texas Panhandle.

They decided to build the foundation of the brewery on things the friends shared in common. First, they both had a love for craft beer, and second, they both had growing families that are deeply rooted in the community. They struck a balance between classic and modern beer styles, just like we’ve struck a balance between rural West Texas and the communities leading the charge for American Craft Beer. We are proud to brew beer for our community and create a space for old friends and new friends to raise a glass. Cheers!
