Start your Summer Break a day early tomorrow (5/25) with a refreshing glass of Sangria! This week we have our Razzle Mint back on draft. We start with a Red Wine Base and load raspberry purée and fresh mint along with simple syrup and lemon juice for a nice balance. It's available on draft at noon, by the glass, pitcher, or crowler to go!

The Mandarinian returns tomorrow! (5/23), This Dry Hopped Pils is brewed with German Pilsner Malt, Munich Lager Yeast, and hopped just right with Mandarina Bavaria and Huell Melon hops. It's bright, crisp, refreshing, and balances the crackery malt base with just the right amount of herbal hop, mandarin orange notes, and a mineral bite at the finish. This is the way....

Available on draft and in 4pks to go.

We've got a fun filled last school week ahead!!

Monday: Try your luck at our Skip-Bo Tournament! It will consist of groups from 2-6, first one to discard their pile wins! Plenty of cool prizes to take home, and always free to play.

Tuesday: This Is The Way...to everyone's favorite Dry Hopped Pilsner! Mandarinian is back on draft, and in 4pks to go! And at 6pm we'll be hosting a donation benefit for Sgt. Claxton and Sgt. Goodner, two Randall County Sheriff's Officers who lost their lives too soon. There will be a 5k Run, 1 Mile Walk, and Live Music!

Friday: It's an all day PARTY! We're dropping some fresh Swim Suits for Summer, as well as beach towels. What better way to show off your gear, than with a Kiddie Pool Party?! Lounge on the patio, relax, and enjoy some cold beer and sun rays from 12-7pm! After you dry off, get your vocals ready and gear up for Karaoke with our own Travis Bishop from 9-Midnight!

We are so excited to be growing Pondaseta Brewing Co, and Kaleb wanted to share a little bit more of our plans!
“We are coming to Canyon! We’re so excited to be building a brewery in the historic Santa Fe Depot building on 2nd Ave. It’s going to be an exciting but comfortable space for beer, food and community. Thank you for all of the support over the last (almost) 5 years. We couldn’t do this without the community.
In late 2020, we realized that Pondaseta Brewing Co. needed to make more beer. This was surprising since we had made so many changes to our business due to Covid-19, but we knew that the people of the Texas Panhandle wanted our beer. So many people supported us in our to-go only “drive-thru” period, and later as we reopened with restrictions and “combos.” We added more tanks and were brewing as much as we could. It became apparent that we needed to do more. At this point we started looking for property with more space. This is when we re-discovered the depot property in Canyon and began dreaming. After nearly three years of planning, negotiations, and discussion, we were able to fine tune a partnership with the City of Canyon.
Unfortunately, over the last 30 years, the depot has been burglarized, vandalized, fallen into disrepair, and has not been accessible to the community. I am truly excited to be able to utilize this building in a way that is good for our community and provide a new destination for craft beer in the Texas Panhandle. Given the poor condition of the building, an historical restoration is not possible, but we are thrilled to be able to put such an incredible building back into use and give the public access to an iconic landmark in Canyon.
It’s been a goal of Trever and I to open a brewery in our hometown for a long time. Opening our second location in Canyon allows us to grow our connection to our community, make more beer, increase our local presence, and expand our distribution footprint to more parts of Texas. We are beyond excited to grow with Canyon for years to come. Stay tuned for videos and photos of the building as it is today, and throughout. In the meantime, let’s raise a glass!

A new sangria, and a jewelry pop-up sound like a great Thursday to us! Tapping at noon is our newest White Sangria, Melonade! The name says it all, it's watermelon lemonade, it's slightly tart, fruity, and refreshing! Available on draft by the glass or pitcher, and in crowlers to go!
