Pondaseta Brewing Co. Donates $12,000
Seventh Year of “Park Road 5 Pale Ale” Continues to Fuel Local Efforts Toward Cancer Research and Patient Support.
Amarillo, TX — Pondaseta Brewing Co. is proud to announce a donation of $12,000 to 24 Hours in the Canyon Cancer Survivorship Center, raised through sales of their annual charity beer, Park Road 5 Pale Ale. Now in its seventh year, this special release continues to support cancer research and survivorship programs across the Texas Panhandle.
“Park Road 5 Pale Ale represents what craft beer is all about—community, collaboration, and giving back,” said Kaleb West, Co-Founder of Pondaseta Brewing Co. “We’re honored to keep this tradition alive and to see our customers rally around a cause that touches so many lives in our region.”
Each year, proceeds from Park Road 5 benefit 24 Hours in the Canyon, the only simultaneous road and mountain bike event in the country dedicated entirely to supporting cancer research and survivorship. The funds directly aid the 24 Hours in the Canyon Cancer Survivorship Center, which provides free programs and services to those navigating life after a cancer diagnosis.
This year’s fundraising effort was made possible through the generous support of Pondaseta’s industry partners, including: Pro Brew Supply, Blue Label, Maverick Malt, AEB Yeast, Lindenmeyr Munroe, and Yakima Chief Hops—each contributing materials, expertise, or resources to help make Park Road 5 Pale Ale a success.
“Year after year, we’re reminded how powerful collaboration can be,” said Ryan Parnell, Director of Operations at Harrington Cancer and Health Foundation. “From the customers who buy the beer to the partners who donate ingredients, everyone plays a role in helping us fight cancer right here at home.”
To date, Pondaseta Brewing Co. has contributed over $30,000 to 24 Hours in the Canyon through the Park Road 5 initiative—fueling both hope and progress in the ongoing battle against cancer.
