For the first release of 2021 Pondaseta Club, we started with our Anejo Gose (Aged in Tequila Barrels for 14 months) and refermented it with grapefruit puree. The result is a top-shelf iteration of a simple, but classic cocktail: The Paloma. Tequila and oak burst from the nose, followed closely by fresh squeezed citrus. The flavor has bold layers of pink grapefruit, fruity tequila, and slightest hint of tobacco and smoke. It’s incredibly refreshing and easy to drink.
The name is inspired by the concept of music mash-ups (thanks Stewart!)
